Open-Source Project-Lead
80%-100%, fixed-term
The Industrial Robotics Group at ETH Zürich is rapidly growing and focuses on pressing challenges in robot-based manufacturing. Utilizing advanced computational methods, machine learning, modeling, and custom hard- and software, we bring our ideas to test in various real-world projects with industry.
Project background
Our purpose-built automation platform enables researchers outside robotics to develop complex, industrial-robot-based automation solutions through Python scripts, requiring minimal time and financial investment. Due to significant interest from fellow researchers, we are launching an open-source project to make our solutions accessible to everyone.
Job description
We are seeking a Project-Lead to bootstrap this initiative, aiming for establishment within the research community in 2-3 years.
