For ACOC-I we are seeking motivated individuals for the position as teaching assistants.
Job description
Each teaching assistant will conduct one or more exercise groups, in coordination with the lectures and under the supervision of a head TA. Additional duties in connection with the lectures are also included (e.g. exam supervision/correction). Exercises and solutions are provided, as is the script of the lecture. The employment is formally for 10 h per week on average over 13 weeks at a standard rate of 30.70 CHF per hour.
Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Completed the “Basisprüfung” or its equivalent with good grades. MSc students and BSc students in the fifth semester or higher are preferred, although students earlier in their program will be considered if their grades are outstanding.
- You must be a Swiss or EU resident or possess a valid Swiss working permit.
- You must be matriculated as a Bachelor or Master student at ETH for the entire duration of the TA position.
- Language of instruction is German, working knowledge of German is required.
- Preference will be given to applicants who attended the class previously.
