Partnership Coordinator at ETH AI Center

As Partnership Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI research and industry applications.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our industry collaborations team, working at the intersection between academia, industry and entrepreneurship. You will help drive the ETH AI Center’s outreach and sales activities for its fellowship and membership program including the joint industry programs within the Swiss National AI Institute (SNAI), in close collaboration with the EPFL AI Center.

You will support managing selected customer accounts, engage with innovation leaders and stay up to date on cutting edge technology. Your role is crucial in guiding corporate clients towards their objectives, showcasing our offerings and helping them leverage cutting-edge technology to stay ahead. You will collaborate with industry leaders, faculty members, and our Entrepreneurship Team to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities within our Membership and Fellowship program. Your ability to execute on given tasks, streamline processes, instrumentally support sales growth, and coordinate our Fellowship funders' needs to drive Fellowship funders satisfaction will be key to the ETH AI Center’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• New partner acquisition: you will work closely within and support the Industry Partnership Manager to ensure growth of the SNAI and ETH AI Center industry membership base. You will also have the opportunity to be actively involved in the new SNAI program delivery, advancing AI maturity within industry players on a national level. 
• New fellowship funder acquisition and retention: in addition, you will be instrumental in growing the Fellowship funder base, expanding the PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship program of SNAI and ETH AI Center. You will be responsible for matching industry partners with respective professors and PhD / Postdoctoral candidates in their fields to operationalize faculty and Fellowship funders’ needs alike.
• Project support: You will work closely with other teams within the ETH AI Center to fund and co-organise events such as the AI+X Summit, Switzerland's largest AI event.

• Fluency in English; German is strongly preferred
• Strong interest in current AI developments, technical degree preferred
• Proven ability and motivation to independently set up and manage projects, with a hands-on, proactive attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills and a talent for communication, facilitating effective interactions with industry partners.
• Experience in a similar role with a track record of success in fundraising.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in CRM systems and sales automation tools a big plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity and a drive for learning.
• Experience in event management a big plus.
