The Innosuisse project RegCheck at the ETH Law, Economics, and Data Science Group (Prof. Dr. Elliott Ash) is looking for a research assistant to work at the intersection of AI technologies and legal tech.
Project background
This research project integrates cutting-edge AI research with real entrepreneurial potential. It aims to automate the review of complex legal and regulatory documents, identifying compliance gaps and minimizing errors.
Job description
Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting in building innovative AI solutions with real-world impact.
- Working with leading researchers and industry experts.
- Contributing to and/or collaborating on publications in top-tier research journals and conferences.
Profile
- Ideally, you are an advanced undergraduate / graduate student who is enrolled in a Swiss University and studies Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on machine learning and natural language processing.
- Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, C++, or similar)
- Interest in legal tech and compliance
- Entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility
- Strong analytical and communication skills
