The Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich is a center of competence for Swiss and international security policy. It offers security policy expertise in research, teaching, and consultancy.

Job description

We offer four six-week internships to graduate and undergraduate students in international relations in their final year of study. Interns will contribute to the CSS research projects, assist the senior researchers with their research, editorial, and networking activities, and co-author articles with CSS researchers in one of the following areas: Swiss/Transatlantic/European/Global security, mediation and peace support (mainly preparation and realization for RMC course), socio-technical resilience/emerging technologies/civil protection, cyber security, and nuclear deterrence and disarmament.

The CSS is a multi-lingual working environment, so proficiency in English alongside at least one Swiss national language is required. Please note that due to Swiss labor laws only EU 25 / EFTA nationals may apply.
