The International Political Economy and Environmental Politics group led by Professor Thomas Bernauer is offering a fully funded position for a post-doctoral / senior researcher in Environmental Politics.
Job description
The International Political Economy and Environmental Politics group is based both at the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CIS) and the Institute of Science,Technology and Policy (ISTP). Its research and teaching focuses primarily on the role of governments, civil society, industry, citizens, and consumers in providing solutions to environmental problems. The post-doctoral / senior researcher will contribute to two long-term panel survey studies on mobility and environmental attitudes and behaviours in Switzerland (Swiss Mobility Panel; Swiss Environmental Panel).
Your profile
You hold a doctoral (PhD) degree in Political Science, Political Economy, Economics, Psychology, or Sociology and are familiar with Political Science/ Political Economy theories. You have very strong skills in quantitative empirical methods, and have experience with survey design and experimental methodologies. An excellent command both of German and English is essential. The preferred starting date is January 2024. The funding is for up to four years.
