Student Assistant: Retail Company Research & Data Analysis

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented student assistant to join our university research group. This position involves collecting and analyzing data on retail companies across Europe and North America, with a focus on their social media presence.

• Research and identify the largest retail companies in various countries across the European Union and North America
• Locate and verify corresponding social media accounts for these companies on Meta platforms
• Extract and compile data on posts and followers from our database
• Organize findings into well-structured Excel spreadsheets for each country
• Maintain meticulous documentation of research methods and sources

We handle working time flexibly so that you can take time to prepare for exams or fulfill other study obligations. Additional work hours are possible outside of lecture periods.

• Currently enrolled as a student at ETH Zurich or another Swiss university
• Languages: German or English
• Strong research skills and ability to verify information from multiple sources
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Strong time management skills
